To improve quality of service to our clients we felt we needed better access, more parking and easier access to the facility. By teaming up with Jon Felts of the Golf Academy, an experienced, professional instructor and founder of the Golf Academy, we’ve combined our experience, expertise and a plethora of golf specific training aids to help you reach your goals.

A systematic approach to track your progress and give you access to launch monitors, high speed cameras, computerized video coaching software, golf simulators and multiple training aids. Convenient tools combined with private instruction are the most effective way to help you set attainable goals and watch as you improve your game. Indoor & outdoor lessons are available.

Included at the new facility is a personal fitness instructor to work with you on floor exercises, cardio equipment, free weights and weight machines to help you sculpt and train your body to whatever level of perfection you desire whether for golf, gymnastics or general fitness and feeling good.

While our primary focus is golf instruction you can still schedule club and shaft fittings and have custom clubs built or repaired, on site! The new facility has been open since February and with the exception of some décor, is nearly complete. The repair shop is still under construction so same day service may not always be available. Please call ahead to advise what’s required as some items are stored offsite until storage can be completed. We are currently changing shafts & grips and building clubs.

When in session with a client we let the answering machine pick up but we will return your call as soon as the session has ended.

    As a scratch player I was hopeful but somewhat skeptical that I could gain 15 yards or more with the latest and greatest new driver. So I did some research and found Pat and Kathy at the King of Clubs in Elk Grove. Not only did I gain yardage and accuracy off the tee, I gained access to the best club fitters I have ever encountered.
     I arrived at my Club fitting appointment and Pat was able to test launch angle, spin rate, ball speed and all of the other factors involved in maximizing distance. We quickly found the proper head and proceeded to find the correct shaft to match the head for maximum ball speed. I was able to take this prototype to the golf course and test against my original driver to determine its value. Immediately the results were clear. The Nakashima head with a Rombax shaft produced longer drives. I purchased six new Pro V-1 balls and marked them with two different colors in order to compare the results. The results were extraordinary. On a mis-hit I gained an average of 5 yards. A standard tee ball gained an average of 12 yards. On a crushed tee shot, (One that occurs 3 to 5 times per round), I gained 20 to 25 yards. We were not done.
     To make a long story shorter, I went back to Pat five times for tweaking of the driver to get the absolute best results. I then took the golf club into competition 3 days later for the first time. The results were awesome. In three rounds at Spyglass Hill Golf Course in The Northern California 4 ball Championship I missed only 3 fairways in 54 holes. Not only that but I was driving the ball much longer than usual.
     My next move will be to go through the same process with my 3 wood. Longer and straighter is better.
     Not only am I thrilled about my new Nakashima Driver, I am completely A+ satisfied with my experience with Pat and Kat at King of Clubs.

    I came to King of Clubs looking for more distance and accuracy out of my driver.  I was slicing a lot and my distances were 250 to 260 yards.  Pat worked with me in the fitting lab using V1 Swing Software and the Vector Launch Monitor.  It was easier to make swing changes because I could see what was happening with my swing and how each different shaft worked for me.  The shaft on my driver was too strong so he built me a brand new driver that jumped my distance to 280 yards and I’m hitting the fairways more consistently. I recommend King of Clubs Golf to anyone who needs new clubs or who wants to improve their golf game. The service is great.  They’ll work with you to make your game more enjoyable and much easier to play.

    King of Clubs....Just a short note to let you know about the three (3) wood I recently purchased.  I got this thru you guys to match my driver that I bought 3 years ago (KZG). 
    This club is better than a dream come true.  I played last Sunday at Valley Hi, and of 4 holes I was putting for birdies...This is not counting the par 3's.  Even though I missed all the putts, at least I had them.  With my game and handicap (personality disorder), MAYBE one time a month I get a birdie putt.
    The only thing that out does the great club was the tremendous serevice I continually get from you two.  I had a 12:00 appointment, a 1:15 tee time, and made it, with my customized club in hand....  Life just does not get any better than that.
    If you ever have any 'doubters', feel free to have them give me a call....

    In June of 2005 I went to King of Clubs and bought a new KZG Gemini driver.  I spent about an hour with Pat fitting the driver with the best combination of shaft, grip and club head size.  During the fitting Pat showed me a few things in my swing that could maximize my distance and accuracy.  1 week later I received my new driver.  After 2 rounds with the driver I had complete confidence in the club.  I was no longer thinking I could hit it 280 in the fairway I was hitting it that far and further on occasion.  With my previous driver I would aim down the right side and try to pull it into the middle of the fairway.  With the new driver I had to aim down the middle because that is exactly where the ball was going.  I dropped my handicap that year, with no practice, from a 14 to a 6.  Since then I have gone back to see Pat for swing tune-ups, and he has always been very helpful.  Thank you King of Clubs for helping me with my golf game.

Dear King of Clubs, Thank you for my new driver. I now seldom hit a wild slice – thanks to my driver.  My wife and I play on a weekday. Jim sent a chart he uses to track his scores at 12 courses.  It was a lot of information so, to summarize for your benefit:  2005/2006 Jim played from the middle tees and scored 88 to 92. Now, with his new driver he plays from the back tees and is scoring an average of 5 points lower. What an improvement. Great job Jim!
