Changes to a clubs lie angles, shaft weight, flex or length can affect the flight characteristics of your shots. Any part of the club that’s not properly fit will make it harder to control your shots or to have any consistency in your shots. The grip style and weight you choose can also have an impact on your shots especially if they’re too large or small.  Grips that are too small may turn a golfer’s natural draw into a hook by causing the club face to close too quickly. Grips that are too large make it difficult to close the club face causing a push to the right or exacerbating a slice. The grip you select will also affect the swing weight of your club so keep it in mind on your next grip change if you’re planning on trying a new style. If you find you’re having problems with the accuracy and or distance of your shots you may want to have your equipment and your swing analyzed to see how well everything fits together.  King of Clubs Golf offers video swing analysis and on site lessons. When you can see what’s occurring during your swing and compare it to our computer models it helps you to understand the mechanics and make the modifications that will improve your swing and the consistency and accuracy of your shots.
